TRG - The Reel Group
In 2025 Paul jumped back into acting, beginning with a few background roles and suddenly, much to his surprise, his work in 28 films—from student to professional—and has gone from background to lead (as of September 2025).
During this time, he also discovered he enjoys working behind the camera and has started a new venture. Here are the broad strokes and we'll update more as TRG grows.
The problem?
For many actors there is difficulty in getting footage back so that they can create a reel (an online portfolio of their work) and this issue seems to be a universal one for people starting out in this business.
TRG's Goal?
To organize a group of skilled people to produce single scene films for use in participants’ reels and/or on their résumés.
TRG's Solution?
The group will assemble aspiring writers, directors, camera operators, editors, and others to help behind the scenes at various shoots. TRG plans to do these single-day shoots and provide raw clips of the scenes, with no charge to the actor, as well.
Details will be forthcoming as the group grows and shoot days are planned.
